I want to publish to JSR, is there a way to test out how my package will function before publishing?

I have been working on a package for a few weeks now, and I would like to publish it to JSR. Before I do that however, I would like to do test how it will function when I have published it, without actually publishing it. Is there a way to do that? I want to make sure everything works completely as intended before I do anything official
