Can't use vite-plugin-pwa with Fresh

I am trying to build a vite-pwa PoC with Fresh but looking at the browser's DevTools, neither a service worker nor a manifest can be found (dev and build mode). I can see that both files were created by the build task, though. Can someone help me out?
